Gabriel — local Friend, every tour, every time

"I’m what folks back home call "Bon Vivant". and nothing brings me more joy than sit-down meals, a pour of something fine, and good company around the table. Back in my country, I was a schoolteacher with a deep passion for history, but moving out here to Spain turned my world right side up.
I took up guiding because I fell head over heels for this city, and if there’s one thing that I'm really good at, it’s spin a good yarn.
Working these streets taught me what makes my tours a little different: I know how to marry hard history with a damn good story, weaving the facts right in with the legends. That sweet spot in between is where the magic happens, and I make sure you and your friends walk away with a memory you'll be talking about for years to come."

A wonderful way to discover Madrid through Hemingway's eyes. Gabo is a captivating storyteller who blends history, literature, and local anecdotes in a way that holds your interest throughout the walk. The route is relaxed, takes you through beautiful corners of the city, and ending in a historic tavern is the perfect finish. Highly recommended, whether you're visiting Madrid or you've lived here for years.

A great experience to reconnect with Venezuelan history from the outside. Gabriel wove together Bolívar's arrival, his story, and the intrigues around him in an entertaining way, full of anecdotes. I brought my Madrid-born girlfriend along — her knowledge of Bolívar was basic, and she learned a lot and enjoyed it too. The walk didn't feel tiring even in summer; the route seems designed to go downhill, which makes it easier.
